Eva Rønnevig est née à Oslo (Norvège) en 1975; c’est dans cette ville qu’elle s’initie à une variété de techniques créatrices, au sein de l’école de dessin, de Forsoks-gymnaset, et de la Nordic Black Theatre School.
Au cours de son séjour dans le squat culturel Volapuk, elle rencontre nombre d’artistes internationaux inspirés, dont son futur mari Marco Grieser.
Elle se joint à lui à Nairobi (Kenya) en l’an 2000, où ils conduisent ensemble le périple et projet artistique Bike Art Afrika (Art à Vélo Afrique).
À leur retour en Europe, ils créent la Galerie Lebenskunst à Munich. En 2002 Eva et Marco randonnent à pied pendant plusieurs mois dans les Andes (Equateur), en compagnie de leur mule, sans quitter un instant leurs carnets de croquis et leurs instruments de musique. Eva se joint alors aux femmes d’un petit village de montagne, où les femmes lui enseignent leur ancestrale technique de poterie.
Cette expérience lui suggère de suivre un diplôme en poterie de l’université des arts de Falmouth en Cornouailles (UK). Ils achetent une péniche et vivent sur le fleuve pendant cette période. La mine d’histoires vécues accumulées au cours de ses voyages lui inspire les bandes dessinées sur ses travaux.
Le couple a aujourd’hui deux enfants, et la famille se fixe près de Perpignan dans le sud de la France, où ils ont ouvert Atelier Artpunch dans leur maison.
En devenant mère, sa vie est devenue beaucoup plus sédentaire. Elle profite de l’opportunité d’explorer les détails dans la nature et dans le paysage et crée ses open-minded vases (ouverts à l’esprit du monde). Dans ce travail, elle projette ces expériences sur ses pots.
Les influences d’Eva viennent de tous les coins du monde: les vases pré-colombiens et africains, les pétroglyphes préhistoriques, la décoration japonaise, la poterie maya, les céramistes contemporains de Cornouailles, ainsi que le yoga, la méditation, la danse et la musique.

Eva was born in 1975 in Oslo, Norway. She learned many different creative skills at drawing school, Forsøks-gymnaset and the Nordic Black Theatre School.
She spent four years living in Volapük—a cultural center in a beautiful squatted villa. There she met many inspiring international artists, including her future husband, Marco Grieser.
In 2000 she joined Marco in Nairobi, Kenya where they organised the artistic project Bike Art Africa. After their return they created Galerie Lebenskunst in Munich, Germany.
In 2002 Eva and Marco spent a number of months walking with a mule in the Ecuadorian Andes, always with sketchbooks and musical instruments in their bags.
In a small mountain village, Eva learned the ancient ways of making pots.
This experience inspired her to take a degree in studio pottery at Falmouth College of Arts in Cornwall, UK. During her studies they bought and restored a houseboat and lived on the Penryn River.
Many of these experiences evolved into comic strips on her work.
The couple now has two children and the family live near Perpignan in the south of France where they have opened Atelier Artpunch in their home.
Since becoming a mother her life has become much more settled. Eva now makes the most of the opportunities to explore details in nature and landscape. This has inspired her Open-minded series of vases.
Eva’s influences come from all corners of the world: Pre-Colombian and African vases, prehistoric rock carvings, Japanese decoration, Mayan pottery, Cornish contemporary ceramicists as well as yoga, meditation, dance and music.

Eva wurde 1975 in Oslo (Norwegen) geboren, wo sie in einer Zeichenschule, im Forsoks-gymnaset und in der Nordic Black Theatre School diverse kreative Fähigkeiten erlernte.
Sie wohnte in einem Kulturzentrum namens Volapük in einem besetzten Haus. Dort lernte sie viele inspirierende internationale Künstler kennen, einschliesschlich ihrem zukünftigen Mann Marco.
Im Jahr 2000 ging sie mit ihm nach Nairobi (Kenia), wo sie zusammen das Kunstprojekt Bike Art Afrika organisierten.
Nach ihrer Rückkehr erschufen sie die Galerie Lebenskunst (bei München).
2002 marschierten sie für einige Monate mit einem Maultier in den Hochanden von Ecuador, natürlich mit Skizzenbuch und Musikinstrumenten.
Eva nutzte die Chance in einem abgelegenen Bergdorf traditionelle Töpferkunst zu erlernen, die dort seit Generationen von den Frauen weitergegeben wird.
Angetrieben von dieser Erfahrung studierte sie im Falmouth College of Arts Töpferei. Sie kauften und restaurierten ein Hausboot und lebten auf dem Fluss. Viele dieser Geschichten entwickelten sich zu den Comic-Strips auf ihren Arbeiten.
Das Paar wurde zur Familie mit zwei Kindern, und lebt jetzt in Südfrankreich, in der Nähe von Perpignan, wo sie Atelier Artpunch in ihrem Haus eröffnet haben.
Als Mutter ist ihr Leben viel stationärer geworden. Sie nutzt die Gelegenheit, Details in der Natur und in der Landschaft zu erkunden. Das war die Inspiration für ihre open-minded Vasen.
Evas Einflüsse kommen aus allen Ecken der Welt: präkolumbianische und afrikanische Vasen, prähistorische Felszeichnungen, japanische Dekoration, Maya-Töpferei, zeitgenössische Keramiker aus Cornwall, sowie Yoga, Meditation, Tanz und Musik.
